Meet MacKenzie,
Cove Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist
After nearly a decade living in Calgary, MacKenzie has returned to her hometown roots and brought her practice, Cove Therapies, along!
Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of individuals and families, and she's passionate about helping people build meaningful communication skills in ways that feel fun and functional. MacKenzie takes a warm, collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach to therapy.
A little about MacKenzie…
MacKenzie holds a Bachelor’s in Behavioural Science, as well as a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta.
Her special interests include: language development & late talkers, social communication & teens, speech, developmental delays, AAC, and adult clients recovering from stroke or brain injury.
MacKenzie is Hanen-certified (It Takes Two to Talk), trained in neurodiversity-affirming practice, and registered with CSASK (#1814) and Saskatchewan’s Autism Registry.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find her staying active, exploring outdoors, baking up something sweet, or spending time with her family—including her husband and two kitties. She loves weekends at the lake, reality TV marathons, and staying involved with the volleyball world.
Saskatoon has always been home to MacKenzie, and she's happy to be back, building something in this beautiful city.
